IE 7 Beta has arrived

That is, if you are a MSDN subscriber! So far the reports are not showing any major fixes to CSS support. Hopefully this will improve before the final release to the public. At least there is progress and a new beginning for IE on Windows.

This releases fixes PNG alpha transparency and the CSS bugs affectionately known as Guillotine and Peekaboo. These were announced by Microsoft months before and this release shows no other improvements have been made.

I will only be disappointed in the development if it doesn’t continue to fix rendering shortcomings, as this is only the first beta. I am severely disappointed in Microsoft for letting people believe IE7 Beta 1 would be a public release.
